Whilst well known in the country, Bonus Card had a weakness at point of purchase: it was not seen as the preferred card of choice for payment in cafes and restaurants. People were also more likely to use cash.

So it asked Cereyan to help find a fresh approach to improve card usage in cafes and restaurants.The agency idea started with the exact moment of purchase. Then, drawing upon the brands' fun and free-spirited brand values, it came up with an innovative way of presenting the bill to the customer.

The "Ad.d Box" contained the bill, but also an LCD screen with audio built in. When the box was opened, the customer found their bill, an ad visual and the Bonus Card Jingle.

People smiled every time they opened the box. Usage of Bonus Card increased dramatically, whilst tracking showed Bonus Card to be the preferred choice.
